Recently, I got addicted back to jap songs, specifically by this female group - AKB48, Team A songs only. (AKB48 consists of 48 members divided into three teams: Team A, Team K and Team B). Apparently, it seems like Team A is gaining more fame? than team B and K. But, I support Team A because of mendol - takahashi minami, Haruna Kojima & Mi & Minami Minegishi. :D) Anyway, majority of the songs has catchy and fabulous tune, yeap.

Holidays: basically I did slacking at home, atending gatherings *haha*, cooking, reading and dating. What an unfulfilling holiday I led! :E

After so many weeks of no new posts, I am back again because I am happy after spending some time on catch-ups with old friends!

Friday, Went on ICQ and surprisingly, Irina was online thus had a fast and fulfilling chat with her before her account runs out of credit. Like before, she bombarded me with the Russian words, making me busy searching for the interpretation online.

Next, went home with Jielin who brought me to take a longer route to reach Tampines n made me laughed for hours at her clumsiness with the stairs and 'unglam' moments which successfully helped in the building for my stomach abs.

Sunday, finally after months and weeks after my 3 months in United States, I met up with Mr. Erich. As expected, he helped me a lot in building my stomach abs throughout the meeting. First stop: We drove to Bedok 85 to have the Minced Meat noodles, Oyster Omelette & Sugar CaneDrink. 2nd stop: Changi Sailing Club - Bubble Tea, Fresh & Salty Wind breeze, Mamma Mia soundtracks and the scenary made the conversation and atmosphere so relaxing and wonderful until this big private boat returned back to the shore. 3rd stop - Changi Village to pack supper for Bro. 4rd stop: Erich's home sweet home. Neat and tidy in common areas but vice versa for his room. *Shake head* To my surprise, the new t-shirt he bought is of the similar design as me!! Just that its in different colours but both are Junk tees with Nestle on it- what a good taste we have! lolx...

Final stop: back to home. Logging into my email account, I was greeted with 2 messages from Anna! After bidding goodbye to her in Myrtle Beach, it was the first email and message replies I received from her. *Excited*

I love my weekend!

Finally able to catch up with bff before she leave for England!! Together with Bing Feng, we went for dinner at Muthu's Curry house. :) A few months back, before I leave for AMerica, we went there for dinner. A few months later, we had the same thing again before Colle leave for her studies. So nicee....

I ate a lot on that prticular night!! Had briyani rice, chicken curry, mutton curry, fried prawns and lots of indian crackers then drank my peppermint bubble tea and headed back to city link for waffles!

Lotsa of fun in taking memorable photos for Colle to bring to UK!! We invited a special guest to take photos with us!! Guess who?! haha...it's TORTOISE, yes! It's Jo's, Sis and MY 'kawaii' tortoise! This small little thing has made a name for himself among my friends ESP JO! (cause Master Wu Gui went to visit her aka Panda in her dreams to hurry her in picking a wife) Therefore, the 3 of us had our chances to take photos with him!! Ahhh....Colle commented that he's very 'hao bao'! I 100% agree with her! (To Colle: Of course! It's my wu gui!) But Bing Feng went to grab his head and posed an irritating faical expression! Hmpf! hAHAH...

It's 1am and I am still sitting at the benches in Biz SChool waiting for the rain to stop!! I'm feeling the cold without my cardigan...when will the rain stop?! I wanna get back to hall to have my beauty sleep!! Moreover, my stomach is upset. It's not feeling good...i reckon its hall dinner again. :(

Mischievous? Yes, I admit cause I packed an additional set of dinner from hall for my not staying in hall classmate so that she can have a TASTE of what we (hall residents) are having for dinner. Expected, she said 'she understand why it's fine to eat occasionally in hall but not fine if were to eat it everyday'. *hahahha* finally she understood what do we mean by 'HALL FOOD SUX'.

missing America....Vik was saying that she's going to the beach with Ira! I bet they are there now, having lotsa of fun, enjoying themselves into tanning session!! I wanna be that relaxed too!

This week's really packed! But I seem not to have enough determination to do what I am supposed to complete. Always side track to do other things on the net. When will holidays come again? I am waiting for it.

Finally able to meet up with leen, boon, mingh and jinglebell last friday after our last meeting which was during Christmas 07! sucks! it's a half year thing. Tt's kinda sad but no choice. Everyone has their own business to settle. Anyway, as usual it turned out fun! I'm just kept laughing and laughing. Oh...everytime we met, boon and I will definitely ask JIngle one question. And expected...her reply is there. Always stagnant; no improvements. However, the process of 'interrogating' her was just hilarious. Hopefully, the next time we asked her the same question, she will give us a different reply. :)

Heard that she's flying to Australia for her pilot course, we are happy for her. Heard that she's flying to France next year for training. We envy her. That's AWESOME! I want to fly to France too but money no enough.

My wish list of countries for travelling in the next 4 years - 1st: USA. 2nd- ENGLAND. 3rd - HONG KONG or TAIWAN. 4th - FRANCE. 5th - AUSTRALIA.

Top 2 countries are a must to fufil within 4 years! *USA - I want to see my special friend again and gain overseas working and living experience! *UK - I want to fufil what U shared with me the other time - sitting in my audience seat, overseeing your whole grad ceremony esp seeing this sweetie of mine graduating with a 1st class in Law!! I'm sure yr parents will be proud of you then!

Thai Horror Movie, “4bia”

This most promising and top grossing Thai horror movie of year 2008 from the directors of “Alone”, “Shutter” and “Body #19″ indeed make my heart skipped a beat.


A price for 4 movies sounds attractive but how's the storyline? I give a rating of 3/5 where story 3, 'In the Middle' scored the most and story 2, 'Tit for Tat' having pretty and handsome actors!As for the effects - it was great I thought...at least there are screams in the theatre. The last story - Last Fright has the ipact on me up till now. I meant it was ridiculous for the casket people not to wrap the 'queen' body well and put it in a coffin instead, they wrapped it up like a mummy and leave it on the passenger seat throughout the whole journey! Tt's disgusting! Just imagine the unlucky passenger for thenext flight paid to sit on a seat tt was previously sat by the Queen's CORSPE. How gross can that be?! Moreover, the corpse just rolled down and the hair just pop out!! Yucks!

3rd story - how come only the character 'Aey' look different after drowning? The others remained their human look but 'Aey' really look horrified! *goosebumps* I love this storyline...ther's kinda a twist at the end of the story. AwesomeE!

2nd story - black magic. Never ever touch that because u never know if eventually, will u become a victim of it like that guy who got bullied.

Yeap! An appaulse for the make-up too! It was undoubtedly gross and fabulous. Scared the audience out of their wits. Nevertheless, come to think of it, the laughter level seems to be higher than screams. :)

Did I mention that I've received a 'love' letter from US? Yeap! I did! I did!! That was so cool! Yesterday, received a phone call from mum saying that I have a letter from the States and immediately, I knew who's it from! As usual, the card and letter contents never fail to draw a smile on my face...>>it's a big big smile from ear to ear!! *delighted** Simple love it!! I kept it like some treasure k... so loved and blessed I feel!

This afternoon economics presentation - am stunned and impressed by the 2 new gp members. Luckily, we chose the right group mates. Explicit exaplanations of the graphs and Q&A. Awesomee!

I didnt buy and lug the tootsie rolls all the way from US to throw into Sheares Hall washing machine! It was meant for my stomach! :( a handful of them in the washing machine....*sad**

the other time was my ezlink card and now, my Matric card...What exactly am I thinking?!!.

Memories, memories, memories!! Only the 5 of us were able to experience the ride. Yes, it's Led Zeppelin - Whola Lotta Love... Clarice didnt want to take the ride even till her last day of work. *thus she cant share that kind of emotions with us!!** What a pity!
I was taken aback when Jimmy Page was standing right on the London Bus stage with his electric guitar, producing this familiar rhythm together with singer/composer, Leona Lewis yesterday at Olympics 2008. *did anyone notice it??** Their duet was totally awesome! I love that version of Whola Lotta love. So wonderful. This song brought me back to the times where I sat on Led Zeppelin rides together with Jo, Ayeme, Chloe, Jay Z, HzL as well as Viktoria and Irina. Hahaha.... the second time was the best!! With HzL scaring that poor little boy before the ride and Jo, on the ride, shutting her eyes & screaming her lungs out!! That was totally fun and amazing! The first time was fab but I got butterflies after getting out of the ride...maybe I was too nervous! hahahha... The last time, Viktoria's reaction was akin to Jo!! Screaming, shouting, yelling all the way!! Yes...all the wayyyy. 3 different companies, 3 different experiences.
Too bad, didnt manage to ride on it on my last day. I miss taking that ride and the 'DROP' feeling!!! Can I turn time back?

I simply love this Reggae Water Falls Dare! Many visitors crowd around, taking photos and look at us! The feeling is like 3 actresses shooting a film or something.

"Having the Singapore freedom though I desire for the one from the other side of the world." tt's the sentence I want others to know bout me now.

Talking about all the interesting facts and happenings from Singapore to US and from US back to home country, Chloe and I were totally engrossed in our recollection, the 3 months US trip. This trip changed the way we face reality/society and the way we handle it. I'hve drafted out my desired future plans but it's definitely not easy for me to go along with this plans but up till now, I do hope I am doing well.

Every week, day,hour,minute and seconds, I'm thinking of US. U may say that as time passed, u will get over it but...it never works for me. A few years back, never will I be that adventurous because my circle of friends arent that spontaneous and daring. But now I am given a chance to have friends that share the same deams as I do, why and what is pulling me back? Perhaps - Finance which most of us are worried about.

I just want my life journey to be more playful, different and fun - that kind of life that one dream of and always wanted to but neither have the chance nor the courage to take the first step. TT's why I am saying- I'm fortunate (my family).


States, I'm not getting over u.

Yes, I admit that tears have been flowing down my cheeks these days and it's not my usual self. I can conclude that the word, 'Departure' is very sensitive to me now. Not forgetting that I cried like nobody's business on the 29th July.
My last week in Myrtle Beach was an enjoyable one. Thanks peeps for making it so fun and interesting. I do appreciate it. I miss Myrtle Beach and my friends.


After 20 hours of flight, finally I stepped into Singapore, my homeland. The feeling inside me is totally different. I miss Singapore to the minimal. But I miss Myrtle beach and US to the maximum. I dont' miss Singapore food at all. Not Hokkien mee, not Satay, not mee rebus, not mee goreng or any others. The first crusine that I miss when in Myrtle beach is SUSHI.

Flight delayed

Here I am sitting in the freezing JFK departure hall waiting to board CX831 which was supposed to depart New York at 2.55pm, Aug 2. Is this a joke or a chance to be more independent?? My flight is delayed for 14hours!! *o` Took a cab to and fro Manhattan, all under Cathay Pacific bill.. That's awesome, don't u think so?! Thus I spent my 14hours in travelling, looking for T-mobile refill card, buying electronic charger, surfing the net in Columbia University Teacher's College, chatting with Shu Jun, last but not the least, spending almost an hour and half on the phone with Irina. As I was telling my surrounding friends, I am beyond doubt 100% contented to meet this awesome friend of mine who is able to share my happiness, sadness etc. Nevertheless, I really wonder when can we meet again....next year summer? Or after my graduation? I will visit Russia. Definitely. It's a pact.

Back to the flight delay, this experience indeed is sporadic and valuable but it's definitely not what anyone will wish for BECAUSE 14HOURS is just too much to bear!! Moreover, there is still another 16hours for me to spend in the space-restricted plane. **OMG!!!*** the waiting area of JFK... it's just so uncomfortable and COLD. :( People have to sleep on the ground...

I miss US, US.

Second day in Orlando
We spent the whole morning from 0715 to 1400, attending that ridiculous presentation about Timeshare and verification of tickets sold by a random guy who was in a hurry to recoup his losses as much as possible. In e end, we got our tickets at 77bucks each for 5 days.
First stop in Disney World - Hollywood Studios. I didn't really enjoy myself here except for the Aerosmith, Hollywood Terror Tower rides, Mermaid show & Star Wars. The rest of the time spent was mainly boring sightseeing and merchandising.

Third Day in Orlando
It’s Flea Market! We had too high expectations for this where it led to high disappointment. Indeed the flea market wasn't what we thought it will be. All I could describe about it is 'An Indoor Pasar Malam'.

Anyway, I love the lunch we had then. Initially our plan was to eat buffet at either Ponderosa or Tony Roma's Steakhouse but as we walked, trying to find the I-ride Trolley, we saw RED BAMBOO THAI restaurant!

4th Random - we simply treat ourselves to Thai Food. Everything was remarkable - the service, the ambience, the restrooms, the classy air and Not to Forget, the FOOD! :)
The next tour in Disney World - Magic Kingdom. This is much better than Hollywood Studios I thought. Indeed. We watched the Mickey Mouse show - Believe DREAMS COME TRUE, ride the race car, visited Disney characters Houses - Mickey, Minnie, POoh and took a tour at Haunted Mansion! The tour was awe-inspiring. Seriously astounding!! The effects and the feel were just so perfect. Oh, did I mention that I love things associated with Horror, Spooky, Paranormal, Sinister, Spine-chilling and Legends. :) Ahh! And GORE!
At night, it's Parade of Dreams Showtime! *Needless for me to say anything, just watch the video*
Forth day in Orlando
This is the worst day of all. After breakfast, the 5 of us happily took the shuttle bus from International Plaza to Universal Studios. Upon reaching, it’s cam-whoring time again before reaching the entrance of the park. Nevertheless, to our horror, our tickets allow no access to us! And the ticket at the door is priced at 80bucks per person! WTH** it's too expensive for me and Clarice thus we decided to change plans. The 4 of us - Ayeme, Vincent, Jo and I shall proceed back to our inn before leaving for Blizzard Beach whereas Clarice, the Shopping Queen off to shop at Premium Outlet. Before that, we finally settled our lunch at Ponderosa Steakhouse. The entree was good! I had grilled chicken with fries together with lunch buffet at only $10.69.
Took a cab down to Blizzard Beach and once again, we got a surprise from the God. Because of Lightning, THE BEACH WAS TEMPORARY CLOSED! Everyone was walking out of the beach! OMG!! Can u believe it? This is so ridiculous for our day! The staff told us that they will reopen until the sky is cleared but when?

Orlando, here we come!

1ST Scare In Orlando - None of us know the exact address of the Sleep Inn that we had made a reservation in. All we know is the branch that is near to Convention Centre. With this information, we went around asking the airport staff how to get there but they cant help us unless we have the exact address. Fortunately, Clarice and I have faint memory that the address starts with WestWood Boulevard. So we double checked with the shuttle bus driver and boarded BUS 42 to international drive! On the way, we saw the so called - biggest mall, The Florida Mall which is seriously big that stands dunno how many acres of land. *too bad we didnt have the spare time to enter and see the mall ourselves.**
2ND random in Orlando - Clarice saw the signage of Cici's Pizza Buffet at $6.49!! Immediately, we changed our mind of checking in first and request for the bus driver to stop us at the bus stop near the restaurant so tt we can have our pizza lunch! All of us were definitely famished at that time. We wolfed down our pizza and Yes! What a splendid tang!! Good recommendation by one of my colleagues. 3RD random - we were supposed to drink ice water only but heck care the rules, we took sweet tea and poured the ice water away. whahahaha... the server saw but she did nothing! hehehe* Seeing us doing that, Ayeme did the same but she asked a funny question after having a sip of her drink. (Did u guys put sugar in the tea?) Without more ado, I knew she took the unsweetened tea! As usual, I can't stop laughing at her!! The unsweetened tea taste so awful that she decided to risk the chance of being caught and pour the tea away then fill her glass with Sweet Tea.
After pizza, we saw a booth that was selling cheap Disney Tickets but it came with a condition. Criteria - A COUPLE above 23years old, must be either cohabit or married and have a stable GOOD income then attend a 1 1/2 hour of presentation the next day. Therefore, the playful us decided to play along and bend the rules.
Next and the last stop for the 1st arrival day - Orlando Prime Outlet where all the brands such as Coach, Aeropostale, Victoria Secret, Kenneth Cole, Juicy Couture, Brooks Brother, Gap, Guess, Fossil etc.

Beach Day

Last Friday is the night before my departure to Disneyland, Orlando, Florida. Met up with Yuka, Joanne and Wanling to THE BEACH!! *I MUST say tt they are the lucky ones because they are the first to see me in Bikini! Even my closest friends didn’t have the chance.* hahaha...

Supposed to meet at 11.15am but girls just like to drag time. J went to pick up our pay check and unfortunately for me, I met the 2 bitches in my store who came for the same purpose. Anyway...unlucky things aside...headed to Myrtle beach for Sun tanning. The wind was so strong tt I can’t even lay my mat in peace! Took a walk with Yuka while the other two continued with their sun tan. GUESS WHAT?! We saw lots of interesting things along our way – fresh poo poo, condoms..
Next thing was Yuka went to buy soft serve and it melted like nobody business....poor her, have to eat it up in seconds. Hahaha...anyway, we continued sun tanning all the way to 4plus then headed to Coastal Grand Mall.

The Chinese restaurant manager gave us a box of chicken wings!! Shopping shopping shopping....my finances traded for a pair of skinny and Adidas black shoes for 10 and 16bucks respectively. Isn't it wonderful bargain??!!! Next stop is BK for dinner/supper. As usual, I had the routine - double stacker meal. *awww....The taste is still amazing!

Orlando Adventure

I just came back from Orlando, Florida!!!! Hahaha...Orlando is so much more accessible as compared to MYR! But we didnt managed to explore the area except for Disneyland. Nvm...all I wanna say is, 'This Whole Trip is AWESOME and EXHILARATING! Totally full of adventures for everyone!'

mY ADVenture: The most memorable tt happened to me in few hours ago! We almost missed the plane back to MYR! The incorrigible counter staff lied to us, said tt it's too late to check in now. At tt moment, our jaws dropped and hearts skipped a beat! **Can u imagine what will be the consequences??** ~buT we find it weird tt Clarice was able to check in few minutes ago, Y cant We? *wondering if it's fate, the plane was delayed due to heavy storms* SO we managed to check in! Happily took my boarding pass to the security checkpoint and my REAL adventure begins. I cant board!!!! The name on my boarding pass is different from my Passport............................sucks! Totally suckz! Ya guys shld know what's e feeling of being rejected to enter the gate & most importantly when yr plane is taking off in few minutes' time!!!!!!!!! Therefore, I had to walk all the way to Spirit counter again to request them to make a change in my boarding pass. *I think I might get a nervous breakdown at any moment at tt time.** The climax- Th system was unable to accept the change of name on my boarding pass!! *F*ck....Luckily, manually she issued a gate pass for me after taking her own sweet time dealing with the system. *Sweat*

My 2nd adventure combines the whole 5 days in Orlando. There seems to be a curse on us on our Orlando trip because every single day, there bound to be something tt will happen to us - 0. thinking tt we took the wrong trolley back to hotel, 1. Do a role play to attend a stupid and time-wasting presentation for a whole morning to get discounted Dinsey Tickets, 2. Got 4 tickets from a random person at a cheaper price & wasted one whole morning 3. called for a cab with a crazy driver, 4. went to Universal Studio with an invalid pass on the 4th day morning 5. On the same day, Jo, Amy, Vincent and I were all set to play the Water waves at Blizzard Beach BUT the beach was temporarily closed due to bad weather and lightning! 6. took the hotel tt was opposite ours - Intl plaza shuttle bus back from Disney Kingdoms when we are not supposed to 7. tour around Intl Plaza, make ourselves like the hotel guests when we are in fact, INTRUDERS!! 8. Managed to smuggle Vincent into Epcot using Clarice's pass & enjoyed the evening 9. made random decisions when deciding on where to fill our hungry stomachs - Cici's Pizza, Ponderosa Steakhouse, Red Bamboo Thai Restaurant, Village Inn Resturant, Petrol Kiosk Mart, Benninger Grill Bar....

***I am a quarter done with my updates only. Do u readers have the same thoughts as me tt My whole Journey was way too Enchanting, Intriguing and Dramatic??!! Totally AN ADVENTURE huh?!

Called to mum yesterday to update her on my daily routine. As usual, I will do the talking first when I called home. Then booked my ticket back to NY and settled many misc issues. While waiting for Jo to get home, chatted with boon online and indeed our conversation was so hilarious and fun! Ohno! I forgot to give her a DISTURBING call! aRGH! hahhaa...

This morning, I bid 'goodbye' to Chloe & JayZ cause they are going to Washington! I bet they are on AmTrek train now, listening to MP3, taking photos, munching on their snacks and enjoying the scenary outside, sleeping and having fun for 8hrs. How wonderful it is... ^-^ It's such a pity tt I didnt join them to D.C. :( all because of miscommunication. They tot I have no interest in going to D.C but...haiz.too late to say anything now.

Anyway... I will still be flying to Orlando with Clarice, Joanna, Amy and her bf, Zhi Long instead on this coming Sat. Definitely all of us are going to enjoy the fullest in wherever we are and wherever we go. Our pact - to take many pictures, enjoy and be safe!!

Tmr is my 'Bonus' off day due to someone's fault in doing up my work schedule. So I dated Yuka and she dated Joanne & Wanling to the Beach! I feel like doing some cycling around the place after our beach excursion. Anyway things are not settled yet. Most importantly, I haven even start packing my luggage! But for sure, I am going to travel light there! :D

OFF DAY!

One fine day after our work, we went for the 8pm Icehouse show after dinner. The show was totally awesome. Ya shld really watch this show...too bad got to fly to Myrtle Beach and buy a tix to get into the park.

Jo & I shared this foot long hotdog and fries. It's kinda disgusting right? The hotdog sticks out of the bun!! haha...I am just quoting Schree's words! (Jo's threatening me with the wobbly plastic knife!)

next, some random pictures we took at coastal grand mall. Our intinery for tt day is movie marathon. Bought a tix to watch SEX & THE CITY officially, followed By Incredible Hulk but afte warming the seat for 10minutes, the rest wanted to go cause they simply dun understand what's going on. Thus we crashed in the theatre screening Kungfu Panda. The show was really lame at times esp for the term: Master 'Wu Gui'. Hahaha...inside joke. But it's not bad afterall. I really managed to laugh at times. 'Cute' is the word for the show. Next, moved on to 'Don't mess with Zohan'. This comedy is really the ulitmate. I really really Laughed out Loud and its neither once or twice but countless times. wahahaha... next, watched 1/4 of The happenings and 1/4 of love guru before we end our marathon. My Ranking: Sex & The City - 1st, Dont mess with Zohan - 2nd and Kungfu Panda - 3rd. I almost teared while watching Sex and The City. So touched by it.

After movie, we went to shop around Victoria Secret, Bath and Body Works and Body SHop! I got a pair of skinnies at Body shop at 16Bucks only. Then Chloe and I headed to BK for our dinner! We ordered DOUBLE STACKER Meal (consists 2 slices of cheese, 2 beef patties, bacon & free flow of drink w small pack of fries!!) tt costs us 4.34bucks only!! After one bite, the burger was simply irresistable! I am going back for more, more and more!

Last but not the least, we headed down to Walmart to get our Groceries! as usual, the minimum time we need is A HOUR! Haagen Daaz Green Tea and Rum Raisin flavour! Am going to get Ben and Jerry on my next visit!
